Do you need to get a document corrected or translated?
The URV’s Language and Publishing Service offers a proofreading service for texts in Catalan, Spanish and English, as well as translation between these three languages. The service may be free or subject to a fee, depending on who places the order and the type of text.
Procedure
To request the correction or translation of a document by the Language and Publishing Service, please follow these steps:
- Check out our rates and turnaround times.
- Prepare the electronic archive that you want correcting or translating.
We work most easily with documents in Word, Excel, HTML, RTF and OpenOffice; if your document is in another format, you can still send it to us and we will tell you if we can work with it (if your ultimate intention is to convert your document into PDF, please first send us the document in its original format so that we can work that instead). - Complete the automatic form for requesting corrections and translations and attach the necessary document.
- If necessary, we will contact you to agree on a delivery deadline
- You will receive the corrected or translated text by email within the agreed time frame.
