Treballem per augmentar el plurilingüisme de la comunitat universitària i potenciar la formació i l'acreditació en terceres llengües.
All bachelor's students
All bachelor's students at the URV have the right to apply for an AGAUR Parla 3 grant so they can study a third language at levels A2, B1, B1.1 or B2.2 of the Common European Reference for Language. Students can apply for the grant once they have passed the course

Bachelor's students with a general grant or Equitat grant
Students who have been awarded an Equitat grant or a general grant for higher education studies in the 2024-2025 academic year have the right to apply for an AGAUR Parla 3 grant so they can study a third language at levels A2, B1, B1.1 or B2.2 of the Common European Reference for Language. In this case, students do not need to pay the registration fee up front and, therefore, the cost of registration is nothing.
Training
We want all members of the university community to have access to third language training that meets their academic, professional and personal needs.
For this reason, the Language and Publications Service offers a range of general courses in English, French and Italian (both online and blended learning formats), and collaborates with the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE) and the Human Resources Service to meet the specific needs of teaching and research staff and administrative and technical staff
English level tests for incoming and outgoing students
All new bachelor’s students have to take an English level test at the start of their first year and another one just before they graduate.
However, they do not need to take the level test if they can demonstrate their level with one of the certificates or diplomas in the following table (taken from Resolution EMC/EMC/3414/2020, of 18 December, of the Department of Business and Knowledge of the Catalan Government).
The result of the exit test will be included in the academic record. In doing so, the URV wishes to emphasise that languages are a fundamental part of its students' education and their academic and professional future.
Language Learning Space
The Language Learning Space is the service provided by the CRAI to support language learning among the university community, via both onsite and online classes. It is primarily aimed at learners of English, but also caters for learners of Catalan and Spanish as a foreign language. Among other services, it offers:
