The URV Intermediate Catalan Language Certificate accredits a B2 command of the language according to the European Framework and is recognised as being equivalent to the Catalan Government's Intermediate Catalan Language Certificate.
To be able to do the exam you must register on Intermediate Catalan 3, which is provided by the Language and Publications Service every term. Your registration fee gives the right to take the exam twice.
This level certifies that you can:
- Understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of academic specialisation.
- Interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
- Produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of academic subjects.
- Explain a viewpoint giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
